This research is an effective exploration of building smart TCM service system based on service design method, which has theoretical and practical significance for the future development of smart TCM.In the West, where Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram are the dominant social media platforms, WeChat may sound a little unfamiliar. And this paper proposes the construction strategy of the service system, and finally presents the smart TCM service system design in the form of service blueprint. Using the user journey graph to analyze the user’s pain points and opportunities at each touch point, it is concluded that the optimization function of the smart Chinese medicine service system should have four functional modules: smart doctor, physiological test, disease feedback, and patient community. In view of the above problems, this paper starts from the perspective of service design, and builds an ideal user behavior process in a smart TCM system with users based on the real scenario of users asking for doctors in TCM. However, in the process of TCM intellectualization, there are also some problems such as complicated hospital treatment process, imbalanced regional medical resources, and slow transmission of TCM knowledge. Smart TCM is to realize the intellectualization of TCM diagnosis and treatment with the help of the concept and technology of smart medicine under the TCM system. Nowadays TCM is moving towards modernization and intelligence, and its status is constantly improving. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is a kind of medicine that has been passed down for thousands of years in China and is rich in cultural characteristics. New challenges related to green practices adoption and medicines supply during crises call for further applications of advanced analytics techniques. Unstructured data have barely been used and combined with other types of information. Findings outlined that despite promising results from machine learning algorithms to address drug shortages and inventories optimisation, the various data resources have not yet been fully harnessed. The contributions of this paper are threefold: (i) it proposes a framework focused on challenges and data resources to assess the current state of data analytics in pharmaceutical supply chains (ii) it provides examples of techniques exemplified that will serve as inspiring references and (iii) it gathers and maps existing literature to identify gaps and research perspectives. 85 publications from 2012 to 2021 were reviewed and classified based on the research approach, objective addressed, and data used. This article presents the current state, opportunities, and challenges of data analytics in pharmaceutical supply chains through a systematic literature review surveying the Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Springerlink databases. In recent years, data analytics in pharmaceutical supply chains has aroused much interest as it has the potential of enabling better supply and management of healthcare products by leveraging data generated by modern systems.
